2009 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V vs 2009 Honda Civic Si (sedan)

Earlier this week, we viewed Sentra's performance and handling characteristics against the Civic's. Now, we'll take a closer look at the versatility and cost effectiveness of each vehicle.

Sentra:

*MRSP: $17,836; $16,159; $14,009
Front Head Room: 40.6in
Rear Head Room: 37.3in
Front Leg Room: 42.4
Rear Leg Room: 34.5 in
Luggage Capacity: 12 cu. ft
Maximum Seating: 5
Fuel Capacity: 14.5 gal.
Fuel Economy: 24 mpg

Civic:

*MRSP: $18,854; $17,542; $15,803
Front Head Room: 38.1in
Rear Head Room: 36.7in
Front Leg Room: 42.4in
Rear Leg Room: 34.6in
Luggage Capacity: 12 cu. ft
Maximum Seating: 5
Fuel Capacity: 13.2 gal.
Fuel Economy: 24 mpg

Okay.

In terms of comfort, the Sentra has a little more room. At least, now we know where some of that 94 extra pounds went to.

Fuel economy, seating, and luggage capacity are all the same on both cars.

The Honda Civic has one gallon less in the tank, but I don't think anyone really cares.

It is a Draw between the cars in by these interior specs.
