Bugatti Veyron: Top Gear Car of the Decade

Named after the French racing driver Pierre Veyron (24 Heures du Mans 1939). The mid-engine Grand Touring car is the pinnacle of all vehicles, sporting an 8.0L V16 quad turbocharged engine producing a whopping 1,001 bhp. And to keep things in check, this car has 10 radiators. 0-60 mph only takes a dashing 2.5 seconds and to 150 only takes 7.3 seconds more. This impressive car will eventually reach its top speed of 267.9 mph.

Not surprisingly enough, it was named car of the decade by Top Gear ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOU8uzSizOg) and Autocar. Jeremy Clarkson said the Veyron was “the greatest of engineering ever. No, I’m sorry, this is the greatest car ever made and the greatest car we will ever see in our lifetime.”
